Layla Mining joined BITMAIN at the World Digital Mining Summit 2026, held on August 27–28 at Rosewood Hong Kong. Under the theme “Ride the Cycle. Hydro Prevails.”, the summit brought together mining professionals, technology experts, and industry leaders to discuss the future of digital mining, renewable energy, and hydro-cooling innovation. 🌍
A major topic was Bitcoin mining’s future alongside artificial intelligence. Speakers explored how AI is changing the competition for power and infrastructure, while highlighting mining’s ability to use surplus electricity and adjust operations when the grid needs it. The discussions focused on smarter energy use, efficient mining farms, and the different opportunities available to mining and AI—not a simple claim that one is always more profitable than the other.
One of the biggest highlights was the launch of the ANTMINER S23 XP Hydro, featuring 600 TH/s, 8.9 J/TH efficiency, and 5,340 W of power consumption. BITMAIN presented the new model as another step forward in its hydro-cooled mining lineup, with announced pricing of $25.50 per TH—equivalent to $15,300 per unit. BITMAIN also announced a limited-time promotional offer for the ANTMINER S23e U2H, its 2U rack-format hydro-cooled miner. With 865 TH/s, 10 J/TH efficiency, and 8,650 W of power consumption, the model was offered at $11 per TH—equivalent to $9,515 per unit. The promotion was advertised as 50% off, with an expected shipping window of November 2026 through January 2027.

Beyond the miners themselves, our coverage also explored ANTRACK V2 and mining heat reuse. Rather than simply releasing the heat produced during mining, a compatible heat-recovery setup can put it to work for heating and hot-water applications.
